Your strategic direction provides the foundation for all decision-making and goal-setting in Elevale.

Vision Statement

Your vision is your aspirational future state - where you want to be in 5-10 years.

What Makes a Good Vision?

  • Inspirational - Motivates and energises

  • Clear - Easy to understand

  • Ambitious - Stretches the organisation

  • Future-focused - Describes the desired future

Example: "To be the most trusted platform for strategic execution in every organisation worldwide."

Mission Statement

Your mission defines your purpose - why you exist and what you do.

What Makes a Good Mission?

  • Purpose-driven - Explains why you exist

  • Action-oriented - Describes what you do

  • Customer-focused - Centers on who you serve

  • Concise - Short and memorable

Example: "We empower teams to turn strategy into results through intuitive tools and actionable insights."

Core Values

Values are the principles that guide your behaviour and decisions.

Defining Your Values

  • Keep it to 3-5 core values

  • Make them specific to your culture

  • Ensure they are actionable

  • Live them every day

Example Values:

  • Customer First - We put customer needs at the center

  • Continuous Improvement - We always strive to be better

  • Transparency - We communicate openly and honestly

  • Collaboration - We achieve more together

  • Innovation - We embrace new ideas and approaches

Setting Strategic Direction in Elevale

To set your strategic direction:

  1. Navigate to Strategic Direction

  2. Enter your Vision statement

  3. Add your Mission statement

  4. List your Core Values

  5. Save and share with your team

Your strategic direction will be visible on dashboards and help guide OKR creation.

Cascading Strategy

Once you have defined your strategic direction:

  • Create OKRs that align with your vision

  • Ensure tasks support your OKRs

  • Track KPIs that measure progress

  • Review and adjust quarterly
