Feature settings hub

Beyond Workspace Settings tabs (General, Sessions, Team Management, Integrations, Billing), each major feature has its own settings hub. Open it from the Settings button on Tasks, Calendar, Chat, OKRs, Market Intelligence, and other feature pages. From Workspace Settings  General  Workspace tools, click Settings to open the hub on Automations.

Who this is for

Workspace admins and editors who configure tasks, calendar, OKRs, chat, or workspace tools.

Before you start

  • Permission to edit the feature you are configuring.

  • Your workspace plan includes the feature (for example Company Wiki on Professional+).

Steps

  1. Open a feature page such as Tasks, Calendar, Chat, or OKRs.

  2. Click the Settings button on that page to open the feature settings hub.

  3. For workspace-wide tools, open Workspace Settings  General  Workspace tools, then click Settings beside Automations, Custom fields, or Sidebar links.

  4. Adjust Task settings for date planning and parent roll-ups (from Tasks).

  5. Adjust Calendar settings for display layers, auto-schedule defaults, and Annual leave (from Calendar).

  6. Adjust OKR settings for check-in cadence, progress alerts, and import/export.

  7. Adjust Chat settings for AI features and Command Centre (from Chat).

  8. Adjust KPIs & Dashboards settings for KPI access, hidden categories, dashboard access, and new dashboard share defaults (from KPIs & Dashboards).

  9. Connect Gmail from Inbox settings for Connected inbox.

  10. Save changes before you leave the hub.

What you should see

Feature behaviour updates for your workspace. Task date rules, calendar layers, OKR check-ins, chat AI settings, and automations reflect the choices you made.

Troubleshooting

  • Settings button is missing You may lack edit permission for that feature. Ask a workspace admin to review your role.

  • Custom fields option is greyed out Custom fields require Business+. Check Subscription plans and the Billing tab.

  • Inbox settings are empty Connected inbox requires Professional+. Connect Gmail from Chat inbox controls after upgrading.

Common questions

Where do I configure workspace automations?

Open Workspace Settings  General  Workspace tools  Settings beside Automations, or open Automations from the feature settings hub.

Do feature settings override Workspace Settings?

Workspace Settings covers organisation-wide tabs. Feature settings hubs control behaviour inside each product area.

Who can change Certifications settings?

Workspace admins can open Certifications settings for Trust Center and public compliance posture on Professional+.

Where do I set KPI and dashboard access?

Open KPIs & Dashboards  Settings. KPIs controls who can view metrics and hidden categories. Dashboards controls live dashboard access and default sharing for new dashboards.
