October 2026 adds dictation from the desktop app, search with Otto, calendar layers, inbox triage, and the bell inbox.
Dictation and Otto
Global dictation - in the desktop app, hold the dictation shortcut to paste speech into any app. Smart formatting, a personal dictionary for names and phrases, and writing styles live in desktop preferences.
Find with Otto - from search in Team Chat, ask Otto to find what you typed instead of only matching message text.
Write confirmation - Otto waits until you tap Confirm before a change is saved. Nothing is written on a timer.
Connected inboxes - let Otto read the connected inboxes you can access. Replies are sent only after you confirm.
Chat and the bell
Bell inbox - the header bell opens Updates for mentions, tasks, and items that need action, and Chat for general messages when that option is on. Mark read, hide completed, and pin priority items to the top. See Bell inbox.
GIFs - search and send GIFs in Team Chat, and save favourites for next time.
Inbox triage - on the connected inbox, mark a thread Later or Done, and see why an important thread needs attention.
Gmail signatures - insert a saved signature when composing from the connected Gmail inbox.
Calendar
Calendar layers - from display settings on Calendar, show or hide work, meetings, annual leave, and public holidays, and choose which days appear on the week grid.
Block time - add a block on the week calendar for focus time that is not a meeting.
Today on Overview - For you lists today's and tomorrow's meetings beside the work that needs you.
Tasks and contacts
Process links - on a task, link a wiki page or an external process URL.
CRM columns - resize people and company columns in Contacts, and reset widths from the column menu. Profiles show contact and company avatars.
KPIs
Reconnect a source - when a KPI connection drops, Integrations shows which KPIs cannot sync until you reconnect.
Partners and certifications
Agency wallet alerts - partners see when the agency wallet is low or a payment method needs attention.
AAT Practitioner - the certification catalogue includes the AAT Practitioner pathway for licensed bookkeeping and accounting.
