In September an admin can decide who sees KPIs, someone invited to a meeting can answer from the email, and a chat can be muted without muting the rest of the workspace.
KPIs and dashboards
Who can see KPIs - choose viewers and above, editors and admins, admins only, or invite only. Open KPIs & Dashboards, then Settings, then KPIs. People outside that choice do not get the numbers.
Hidden categories - hide a category from the normal roles, and still let a custom role in Teams read it.
Dashboard access - set who can open live dashboards, and separately how a new dashboard is shared when it is created.
A clear block - someone without access sees that the KPI or dashboard is restricted, not a blank chart or someone else's figures.
Calendar and meetings
Reply from the email - an invitation includes Accept, Decline, and Tentative. You can answer in the email or from the meeting on the calendar.
Repeat a meeting your way - set a custom repeat when you create or edit a meeting, instead of only the built-in weekly option.
One attendee list - add workspace members and people outside the workspace from the same picker.
Buffers - keep a few minutes after a meeting, or between auto-scheduled tasks. Those gaps show on the week calendar so the day is not packed solid.
Team chat and notifications
Mute one conversation - set All messages, Mentions only, or Muted on a single channel or direct message. The rest of chat stays as it was.
Open the right chat - tap a chat alert and you land in that channel, direct message, or thread.
See if someone is around - a direct message shows when they are online, away, or using a custom status.
Leave and AI
Leave that matches tenure - add extra allowance after a set number of years, and pro-rate someone who joins part way through the year.
Ask Otto what is automated - Otto can name the automations that are actually on, and what each one does, from the live rules.
Suggested follow-ups - after Otto replies, tap a suggested prompt to continue, in chat or by voice, without typing the next question.
Fixed
Your tasks in Otto - asking Otto for your tasks still returns your list when the workspace has a lot of other work.
Billing stays open - saving workspace settings no longer blocks an admin from opening billing.
