FoundationMedia Library stores images and files for reuse across the workspace. Upload assets once, then attach them from wiki pages, tasks, and other modules that support files.
Who this is for
Workspace members with Media Library access. Admins can enable or disable the feature under Workspace Settings → General.
Before you start
Media Library enabled for your workspace.
Permission to open Dataroom → Media Library.
Steps
Expand Dataroom in the sidebar, then open Media Library.
Upload assets from the Media Library page.
Organise files into folders when your workspace uses folder permissions.
Reuse files in Company Wiki articles, tasks, and chat attachments where supported.
Open a file's settings to review who can view it. Folder settings apply to everything inside.
What you should see
Uploaded files appear in Media Library and can be inserted elsewhere without re-uploading. Linked files removed at the source may still show a reference until you clean up.
Troubleshooting
Media Library is missing from Dataroom Ask an admin to enable Media Library under Workspace Settings → General → Workspace tools.
I cannot delete a file Only files uploaded directly to Media Library can be deleted there. Remove linked files from their task, wiki page, or chat message first.
Teammates cannot see an asset Check folder or file permissions. Workspace members with Media Library access can view files in permitted folders.
Common questions
Can I attach from Media Library in the wiki editor?
Yes. Use the editor to attach from your device or pick an existing Media Library item.
Does Media Library replace task attachments?
No. Tasks can still accept direct uploads. Media Library is the shared catalogue for reuse.
Who manages folder permissions?
Admins and members with Media Library management access can set folder visibility.
