Each planning session can have a quarterly workshop for pre-meeting prep and a session agenda wiki for the live meeting and historical record. Business Plan is your live workspace strategy hub. Open Session agendas on Business Plan to manage agenda docs. Session agenda settings (auto-create, {{aiName}} draft, calendar link) live under Business Plan settings.
Who this is for
Workspace admins and planning leads who set up sessions, run quarterly workshops, prepare session agendas, and keep Business Plan current.
Key concepts
Planning session - a quarterly period (for example Q1 2026) with start and end dates. Sessions group OKRs, KPIs, and AI insights for that period. Create and manage them in Workspace Settings → Sessions.
Quarterly workshop - a guided walkthrough linked to one planning session. When a workshop is due, Workshop Due appears in the sidebar. Complete Business Plan, OKRs, tasks, and discussion notes before your session.
Session agenda - a wiki doc per session (for example "Q2 2026 - Agenda") for meeting topics, decisions, and outcomes. Optional auto-create on workshop submit; draft with {{aiName}} from your prep data. Open Session agendas on Business Plan to browse, create, or draft agendas.
Business Plan settings - use the settings gear on Business Plan (or Feature settings → Business Plan → Session agendas) to control auto-create on workshop submit, {{aiName}} auto-draft, and how calendar meetings link to agendas (Auto, Suggest, or Off).
Business Plan - the workspace-wide business brief and six planning tabs. Open it any time from the sidebar. Workshop step 1 updates it and saves a period snapshot.
How they connect - workshop prep feeds the session agenda wiki. Calendar meetings can link to the same agenda doc (auto, suggest, or manual). After the meeting, use Record on the calendar or planning panel to capture outcomes into the Outcomes section on the same wiki page.
Examples
Run workshop prep - click Workshop Due and complete each stage. Submit when every stage is done. If auto-create is on, Elevale creates the session agenda wiki and may include a link in submission emails.
Open session agendas - on Business Plan, use Session agendas to preview, create, or draft agendas with {{aiName}} without leaving the page. Use the settings gear for workspace session agenda preferences.
Prep from calendar - when a meeting is linked to a session agenda, tap Prep (week grid popover or day panel) to open that wiki doc.
Record outcomes - on a linked calendar meeting or from the session planning panel, use Record to start meeting capture; stopping appends notes under Outcomes on the agenda wiki.
Turn off auto agendas - in Business Plan settings → Session agendas, disable auto-create on workshop submit if your team does not use meeting agendas (for example sole operators).
Common questions
Is there a session agenda document?
Yes - a session agenda wiki per planning session. It is separate from the workshop walkthrough steps: the workshop is prep; the wiki is the meeting doc and archive. Create it manually or enable auto-create on workshop submit in Business Plan settings.
Are workshops tied to planning sessions?
Yes. Every quarterly workshop belongs to one planning session. Workshop due dates are usually set near the end of the session.
Who sees session agendas?
Workspace members with wiki access. Strategic advisors assigned to the workspace can read linked agenda pages in-platform. Share by inviting people to the workspace - there is no separate PDF export.
Does the workshop create the agenda automatically?
Only when auto-create on workshop submit is enabled (default on). Sole operators or teams that skip agendas can turn it off in Business Plan settings → Session agendas.
How do calendar meetings link to agendas?
Business Plan settings → Session agendas includes calendar link mode: Auto links the best matching meeting when an agenda is created; Suggest shows link options in the calendar; Off is manual only via Edit meeting.
