Xenon Connect - Setup & usage

Not available to connect.Xenon Connect does not show a Connect button in Workspace Settings → Integrations. The rest of this page describes the connection for when it is opened.

Follow these steps to connect Xenon Connect, create connected KPIs, and keep syncs healthy.

Before you connect

  • Confirm you have admin or integrator access to the Xenon Connect account you want to measure.

  • Connection uses API key.

  • Only connect accounts your organisation owns or is authorised to report on.

Copy the key

  • In Xenon Connect, open Settings, then API key.

  • Copy the key.

Connect in Elevale

  • Open Workspace Settings → Integrations, find Xenon Connect, and paste the API key.

  • Elevale checks the key before saving it.

  • Use Refresh on the Connected tab if a company you expect is not showing a score yet.

See a score

  • The Elevale company name must match one Xenon organisation name.

  • Open the company in CRM. The Xenon panel appears after a snapshot has synced.

  • Contacts at that company can show the same bookkeeping health.

Troubleshooting

  • No score - the names do not match, or Xenon has not returned a snapshot yet. Refresh the connection and check the company name.

  • Two possible matches - rename one side so only one organisation shares that name, then refresh.

Create connected KPIs

  • On KPIs & Dashboards, create a KPI, choose Connected, and pick your Xenon Connect connection.

  • Select a data point from the catalog (see the Data points article in this folder for the full list).

  • Set a sync frequency. An initial sync runs after save; use Resync on the KPI card for on-demand updates.

  • Review last sync time and error messages on the KPI detail page. Reconnect in Integrations if auth expires.

Sync frequency guidance

  • Daily - traffic, ads, engineering, and operational metrics reviewed weekly.

  • Weekly - summary KPIs for leadership dashboards.

  • Monthly / quarterly - finance and board-level accounting metrics.

  • Match frequency to how often you review the metric. Use Resync after configuration changes.
